The weekly retyping problem
Public works contractors must submit certified payroll for every covered week. Most small-business payroll systems don't produce the files agencies require, so the office types the same numbers in again: names, classifications, daily hours, rates, fringes, deductions.
XML-only bulk upload
Since January 1, 2026, New York requires electronic certified payroll for prevailing wage projects. Bulk upload accepts one XML format only.
New WH-347
The Department of Labor revised the WH-347 in January 2025, and approval for the old form expired on September 30, 2026.
Fringe math
Fringe credits must be annualized over all hours worked. Getting it wrong creates underpayments and restitution.

Do you submit payroll to the state for me?
No. PrevailReady prepares and checks the files. You download them and upload them yourself through the agency's portal, under your own account and signature.
Is my payroll data uploaded to your servers?
No. The free tools read your file inside your browser, and the file never leaves your computer. We count anonymous usage events (for example, "a file was generated") to see whether the tools are used, and nothing else.
Which payroll systems work?
Any system that can export a spreadsheet or CSV. The free converter uses a simple template. The full app will add saved mappings for common payroll exports.
Is this legal advice?
